Alexandra Morgan: Police issue appeal for missing Kent mum-of-two who has not been seen in nine days

Missing mother-of-two, 34, has not been seen for nine days: Police say it is ‘out of character’ for her to not contact her children and believe she may have gone to York from her home in Kent

Police are desperately searching for a missing mother-of-two who has not been seen for nine days – with officers becoming ‘increasingly concerned’ for her welfare.

Alexandra Morgan, 34, was last spotted filling her Mini Cooper up with fuel at a petrol station on Remembrance Sunday (November 14).

Pictures show her inside the shop near Cranbrook, Kent, less than three miles from her home in Sissinghurst.

Officers say they are ‘becoming increasingly concerned’ for Alexandra’s welfare as it is ‘completely out of character’ for her not to contact her two children.

They have tracked her white car, said to be ‘key to establishing her whereabouts’, using the number plate MF55 YHM.

Detectives initially believed she may have used her vehicle to travel to York.

But the Mini was spotted making journeys between Alexandra’s home and towards the Hastings area on Sunday November 14, when she was last seen, and the following day, Monday November 15.

She has not been seen since the petrol station sighting some nine days ago. She was in the petrol station shop around 7.20am, police say.

A previous appeal said she had also been spotted in the village of Sissinghurst around 9.30am on Saturday, November 13.

Detective Chief Inspector Neil Kimber, of the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: ‘We are becoming increasingly concerned for Alexandra’s welfare.

‘She has two children and it is completely out of character for her not to contact them.

‘Anybody who has seen Alexandra or knows where she might be is urged to contact the appeal line.

‘We are also asking members of the public to call us if they see her white Mini. Her car remains key to establishing her whereabouts and making sure that we know she is safe.’
