Bunnings has revealed its trademark sausage sizzle will return to some NSW stores from this weekend.
In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, the warehouse’s chief operating officer Simon McDowell said the chain is ‘really excited’ for barbeques to return outside the front entry of stores from Saturday, October 16.
‘We know how much our customers have missed the weekend tradition, and we are really pleased local community groups will be able to get back behind the BBQs to raise funds,’ he said.
Sausage sizzles will be back in some stores but Bunnings expects all stores to be up and running in the next few weeks.
‘Sausage sizzles will return progressively as our store teams book groups in and take them through the health and safety requirements in line with the NSW reopening roadmap,’ McDowell added.
‘We expect to have most stores back up and running over the next few weeks.’
