The Rooneys were followed by a film crew while doing a ‘staged walk’ after the first day of the Wagatha Christie libel showdown yesterday after Coleen signed up for a Netflix documentary.
Coleen and her former England star husband, Wayne, both 36, were spotted walking down a pavement near the High Court while receiving instructions from a production team and a woman carrying a ‘documentary-style’ camera.
It comes after it emerged Coleen had signed a deal to make a documentary telling her side of the case – which has pitted her against her WAG rival, Rebekah Vardy, 40.

An onlooker told MailOnline: ‘When Coleen and Wayne came out of court they didn’t get into a car like everyone else does, they walked across the road and down an alleyway.
‘That’s where they all congregated and started laughing and chatting – which was interesting to see after a serious day in court.
‘Then a producer set up a camera on a tripod and started staging them walking up and down the road – it was almost like scripted reality.’
Rebekah, who is suing Coleen for libel, is believed to be lining up an interview with Piers Morgan on his new chat show on Talk TV.
Sources say both women could pocket six-figure sums for spilling details of their battle since Coleen dramatically took to social media in October 2019 to allege that stories about her that had been leaked to The Sun newspaper had originated from Rebekah’s Instagram account.
Mother-of-four Coleen is working with Dorothy Street Pictures, the company behind the much anticipated Pamela Anderson documentary which will be shown on Netflix.

A source told the Mail On Sunday: ‘Coleen has done the clever thing and got in to tell her story before someone else muscles in.
‘She will be really hands-on and wants to tell the truth about what went on. Filming started a few weeks ago and there is huge excitement around it.
‘The programme is most definitely going in the direction of Netflix. It will be classy, and speak from the heart.
‘There were various offers and discussions about who would make this documentary but Coleen loved that Dorothy Street is run by women.’
Rebekah, the wife of Leicester City striker Jamie, is said to be in talks with Morgan’s team for a lucrative tell-all interview.
The 40-year-old is friends with the former Mail on Sunday columnist and one insider said: ‘Becky knows what this is worth. While nothing has been signed yet the deal is as good as done. Piers is not going to let this go elsewhere. He is very much in pole position.’
Rebekah Vardy leaving the High Court yesterday at the end of a gruelling day of evidence
Legal costs have already run into the millions, sparking criticism of both footballers’ wives.
Yesterday, Rebekah took to the stand to reveal how she feared she would lose her unborn baby after her rival Wag accused her of leaking stories.
Meanwhile, Coleen’s lawyer confronted her with a newspaper interview in which she gave intimate details of a sexual encounter with pop star Peter Andre and mockingly compared the size of his manhood to a ‘chipolata’.
The case continues today.
