AFL star Bailey Smith is off the market.

The Bulldogs star, 21, is said to be ‘quietly dating’ pretty brunette Gemma Dawkins, according to a report in The Herald Sun on Wednesday.

The publication claims that Bailey – who last week confirmed he had a ‘girlfriend’ in a tell-all interview – stepped out with Dawkins at the Grand Prix last month.

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Bailey and Gemma for further comment.

Bailey confirmed he was taken during an interview with Code earlier this month.

In the chat, he said his ‘girlfriend’s’ father had seen him starring in shirtless adverts for fashion brand Cotton On, which are currently plastered on billboards across the country.

‘It’s funny. My girlfriend’s dad drives past it every day,’ he said.

‘It’s hilarious … It’s interesting but I don’t pay too much attention to it. I try not to. I just focus on my footy, because that’s what comes first, and all those other rewards with Cotton On and Monster come after that.

‘As long as I keep trying to perform and work hard during the week all those other fruits and exciting things come.’

It comes after Bailey recently purchasing his first home in Melbourne’s southeast.
