Billionaire Lord Sugar STORMS OUT after fiery clash with Darren McMullen on The Celebrity Apprentice – and accuses the TV presenter of being ‘disrespectful’ and ‘abusive’

Darren McMullen butted heads with Lord Alan Sugar on Monday’s episode of The Celebrity Apprentice Australia.

While embroiled in a heated boardroom showdown, Darren argued why he should be part of the Grand Finale.

‘I was in hospital and all I could think about was no I don’t want to let this charity down’ Darren ranted, referring to his recent absence from the show due to chest pains, which doctors infirmed him could have been a mini heart attack.

‘I don’t want to hear about your hospital anymore’ Lord Sugar snapped in response.

‘What about the fact my bloody dog is dying and I’m here doing a dog task,’ Darren hit back, referring to his pooch Mac who was diagnosed with cancer.

‘If you wanna fire me, fire me. I don’t need to be here. Dude, I have put my heart and soul into being here,’ he went on.

‘Don’t call me dude,’ Lord Sugar hit back, and Darren replied: ‘You think I don’t have work? I don’t need to be here.’

Furious, Lord Sugar called the outburst ‘ridiculous’ and stormed out of the boardroom.

‘Do you think Darren’s tirade of abuse to me personally, is acceptable?’ he then said to producers.

He was convinced to return to the boardroom, where he admonished Darren for his ‘fiery temper’.

‘I think you’re somewhat disrespectful towards me and I don’t like that,’ he said.

Darren managed not to get Lord Sugar offside, as the first person fired was singer Amy Shark.

That just left Darren and Ronnie Caceres, and luckily for Darren, Ronnie was the one in the line of fire.

Darren will now compete against Benji Marshall in the grand finale.
