Chris Hardwick and wife Lydia Hearst are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first child together.
But on Wednesday the actress slipped into promo mode when she attended the 2021 Screamfest Horror Film Festival screening of her new film, Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman, a biographical film about serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
And on this night she and Hardwick shared the spotlight of the red carpet at the promotional event.

Hardwick, 49, paid homage to Disney by wearing a red Mickey Mouse sweater with brown khaki-style pants and brown leather boots.
He also sported a five o’clock shadow and had his brown hair cut short.
The comedian got handsy with his wife of more than five-years, who showed off her growing baby bump decked out in a brown skin-tight dress with a leaf designs.
The actress, 37, who’s the great-granddaughter of newspaper publisher and politician William Randolph Hearst and the daughter of Patty Hearst, pulled her red-tinged locks back off her face, behind her ears, with a part in the middle.

Earlier on Wednesday, Hearst took to Instagram and shared a a photo taken on the beach of herself and co-star Peyton List, who portrays a young Wuornos in the movie..
‘Behind the scenes snap from Aileen Wuornos: American Boogeywoman,’ she began in the caption.
‘So excited for tonight’s screening at @screamfest! I had the most phenomenal time making this film, and meeting and working with some truly incredible and unbelievably talented humans.’
She added, ‘I hope you all enjoy the movie as much as we loved making it!!’

The cast also features Nick Vallelonga, Swen Temmel, Andrew Biernat, Meadow Williams and Tobin Bell.

The film details the early life of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in 1976 when she marries wealthy yacht club president Lewis Fell, only to inflict mayhem within her new family and Florida’s high society.
The new film was shown at the 2021 Screamfest Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles and released on VOD on October 8, 2021.
Wuornos was previously the subject of the biographical crime drama film Monster (2003), which earned Charlize Theron high praise for her performance and an Academy Award for Best Actress.
One day earlier, Hearst gushed more about her experience on the set of the film, calling it ‘stranger than fiction’ while reiterating that she ‘absolutely loved every moment working on American Boogeywoman.’
Along with some clips of the movie, she wrote: ‘I loved the script, the locations, and of course the cast! I am very proud of and excited for this film. We all worked extremely hard and put a lot of love, effort, and care into portraying these people and telling this story.’

The couple also used their respective Instagram pages to conform the news Hearst was pregnant.
‘We are over-the-moon and beyond excited to share this news!! I cannot wait to hold my baby in my arms, to bring them for walks in the stroller, to teach them to talk, walk, use the potty, and to be a caring, respectful, and loving human being!’ wrote the actress on August 22.
‘Every single day with @hardwick is a new adventure filled with laughter and love; our hearts are overflowing with joy and we cannot wait for this next chapter as a family.’
Hardwick wrote how he was so excited to finally be able to share the news.
‘It has been an incredibly bright spot in a surreal time. I gotta say, when we went in for one of the ultrasounds, the first time I saw this little alien gummy bear wiggling around my world completely changed for the better in that exact moment. We are so so beyond thrilled!!’
