Jamie Lee, whose father was Some Like It Hot heartthrob Tony Curtis, posed in pitch-perfect period attire including a wig unmistakably of the era.

She has been the leading lady of the Halloween franchise since the original instalment in 1978 which was directed by John Carpenter who also composed the memorable score.

Another guest at the premiere was Kyle Richards, who featured in the first Halloween as a child actress and is making her grand return to the franchise in the newest film.

Kyle made a splash at the costume premiere as a saucy circus ringmaster, complete with gold and scarlet epaulettes and a top hat with feathers.

These days Kyle is starring on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills and for Tuesday night’s black carpet she was joined by her co-stars Dorit Kemsley, Kathy Hilton and Lisa Rinna.

Kathy, who happens to also be Kyle’s sister, was dressed as a dentist who goes by Hunky Dory DDS and arrived in full uniform including a trayful of supplies.

Meanwhile Lisa, who has been a showstopping presence on the program for years, pranced around the black carpet dressed as a large pink bunny rabbit.

True to form: Lisa's ensemble included makeup to give her a rodent nose and a set of whiskers, but her signature cropped hairdo from her days as a 1990s soap star was still visible under the bunny ears

Meanwhile in a somewhat bizarre touch Dorit was dressed up as her co-star Kathy’s daughter Paris Hilton – specifically wearing the outfit the hotel heiress modeled at her 21st birthday bash.

Kyle also posed up on the carpet with former Real Housewife Of Beverly Hills Teddi Jo Mellencamp as well as Nicole Brown Simpson’s old pal Faye Resnick, who occasionally guest stars on the show.

Teddi Jo flaunted her legs and cleavage in a busty take on a gladiator outfit, balancing expertly on a sky-high pair of black thigh-high stiletto boots.

She let her luxurious blonde hairdo tumble freely over her shoulders and accentuated her unmistakable features with makeup for her latest outing.

The daughter of John Mellencamp brought a massive toy sword with her to complete the outfit, brandishing it as she mugged for the cameras at the big premiere.

Judy Greer, who plays Jamie Lee’s daughter in Halloween Kills and its immediate predecessor, arrived at the event in a costume reminiscent of Annie Hall.

Another of the film’s cast members Carmela McNeal arrived in what looked at first like a normal glamorous premiere look – until one saw the film’s tagline: ‘EVIL DIES TONIGHT’ scrawled above her cleavage.

Nick Castle, who played serial killer Michael Myers in the original Halloween, had a playful moment at the premiere with James Jude Courtney, who plays the role in Halloween Kills.

James, who played Michael in the immediate predecessor of Halloween Kills and will reprise the role for the next movie as well, was just dressed as himself.

Meanwhile Nick was dressed as Michael Myers – and could be seen quailing in mock horror as James playfully raised a knife over him, as if bumping him off to replace him in the franchise.

Another cast member of the film Nancy Stephens appeared not to be in costume but still clove to the Halloween theme by opting for an elegant orange jacket.

Benito Skinner went for a classic suit as a red-clad vampire at the big event, whilst Dylan Arnold brought back memories of dashing Old Hollywood stars.
