It comes after Joey discovered an old comment from Love Island’s Chloe Burrows on his Instagram, hitting back at her for not ‘being kind’.
Joey revealed he was going through his archived posts when he noticed a comment on one of his 2019 photos from Love Island runner up Chloe.
‘So vile,’ read Chloe’s comment, which was posted before she shot to fame on the ITV2 show last year.
Joey said he was ‘casually going thru my archived posts… i’m screaming hahahahahha,’ adding: ‘not 17 year old me getting hated on by a wannabe love islander purrrrr’.

In a string of posts he also quipped of Chloe: ‘defo posts ‘use my code to get 10% of this #bekind hoodie’ too,’ before admitting: ‘i’ve never watched an episode of love island btw it just says it in her bio.’
A representative for Chloe has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
The reality star confessed recently that he barely ate and was drinking everyday after he reached ‘breaking point’.
Speaking to The Sun, he described the difficult aftermath of leaving the ITVbe show and how his life increasingly spiralled out of control – saying he felt like he was going ‘insane.’

He said: ‘I left Towie to go to uni and do my own thing. But I was being constantly hounded like an animal. Just because I’m in the public doesn’t mean I’m not human, it’s like people forget that.’
It comes as his fans have become increasingly worried about Joey’s health, after he posted several selfies looking increasingly slender.
Now he explains: ‘When I look back at those photos I posted I can see how sad I look. I was experiencing and enduring my emotions and through my look I portrayed that. I didn’t have time to eat. I was so busy at such a young age.’
Joey received death threats over the images, and while insisting the comment were from ‘jealous’ trolls, he admits they caused him to bury his feeling through excessive partying.

He explained he wasn’t even enjoying himself, but had become ‘numb’ to his emotions.
Joey credits his family, especially his mother, for helping him get his life back on track, calling them his ‘rehab’.
He said: ‘There was a point where I did feel overwhelmed with everything. It felt like I’d hit breaking point. I’m very lucky because I had family support around me. My mum cares about me very much and has been such a big support in my life. She always makes sure I’m eating and that I’m coping with everything. My family were my rehab.’
Despite his struggles after appearing on the show, Joey is still grateful for TOWIE for skyrocketing him to fame.
He said that he had ‘nothing but respect’ for the show and ‘everything it gave me’ but confessed it was just not the right fit for him.
