Kanye West lists sprawling Wyoming ranch for $11million

Kanye West appears to be on the move again after listing his Wyoming ranch for $11million, DailyMail.com can reveal.

The 9,000 acre Monster Lake Ranch in Wyoming was originally listed for $14million when the rapper bought it back in September 2019, though it was reported at the time that West, 44, paid under the asking price.

While it is unclear exactly what price the Stronger hitmaker purchased it for, the new asking price is $3million less than what it was when he bought it.

The property has been has been listed with DBW Realty.

The location will perhaps have mixed emotions for the musician, as it was where he had plotted his failed run for Presidency – as well as a very tense reunion with his estranged wife Kim Kardashian following one of his outbursts on the campaign trail.

One of the alleged breaking points of their marriage, according to UsWeekly, was that West wanted his wife to move there ‘full time.’

‘Kanye wanted the family to move to Wyoming full-time. It’s where he sees this direction of his life going. Kim just doesn’t see their lives full-time in Wyoming,’ a source told the publication.

West owns 4,500 acres of the property, with the rest leased from the federal government, and is now looking for a buyer.

At first, it seemed as though Kim Kardashian was on board with the planned move to Wyoming.

When asked where she saw herself in 10 years in her September 2019, she said: ‘In my mind, I’m already living in those 10 years.’

‘I see us living on a ranch in Wyoming, occasionally going to Palm Springs and our home in Los Angeles – and becoming a lawyer. I would probably do it from [Wyoming] and fly into D.C., NY, and L.A.’

However, reported began to emerge that the married couple were leading ‘separate lives’ with West spending more time at the ranch.

She later addressed it on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, saying: ‘I just honestly can’t do this anymore. Why am I still in this place where I’m stuck for years?’

‘Like, he goes and moves to a different state every year. I have to be, like, together so I can raise the kids. He’s an amazing dad, he’s done an amazing job.’

Kim shares daughters North, eight, and Chicago, three, and sons Saint, five, and Psalm, two, with ex West.

West had spoken about his big plans for the side, telling Zane Low in a 2019 interview that they were building farms there.

He revealed: ‘We’re building farms here because of the climate and because of the soil and hydroponic cotton, wheat, hemp and we’re developing our own fabrics so we’re going to go from seed to sew from the farming table so we can see the entire process.’

In November 2019, West bought a second Wyoming ranch, which was listed for $14.495million.

That ranch was situated on 6,713 acres, with a five-bedroom, four-bathroom main house, in addition to three cabins which can fit between four and six guests each.

That property is located just outside of Greybull, Wyoming, an area known for its striking natural landscapes.

It is not yet clear if West plans to sell that property too.
