Love Island Australia viewers left shocked as Lexy Thornberry STEALS Ryan Reid from Ari Kumar… before it’s revealed two more hunks – including an AFL star – will soon join the villa

Love Island viewers enjoyed an explosive episode on Tuesday, as bombshell Lexy Thornberry chose to steal Ryan Reid from Ari Kumar during a tense re-coupling.

The 20-year-old bartender had spoken to a number of male suitors before making her decision, but in the end chose Ryan, 25, because she thought he was ‘hot as hell’ with a great ‘sense of humour’.

Fans were left shocked by Lexy’s choice, with some feeling sorry for Ari – who shared her first kiss with Ryan on Monday – while others were excited for the impending drama.

‘YES LEXY. QUEEN BEHAVIOR SEALED,’ another wrote.

Ari is now single and ‘vulnerable’ – but luckily, a trailer for Wednesday’s episode revealed two more hunks are set to join the villa.

The first is AFL star Mitchell Hibberd, 25, who has played for both Essendon and North Melbourne Football Clubs.

‘I played some big AFL games, and then I get back to my phone and there’s a lot of girls sliding in my DMs,’ he confidently said in a teaser trailer.

‘I’m not looking for someone who wants to be a WAG – I’m looking for someone who is genuine and likes me for me. I’m a big softie at heart.’

He added that although he thinks he’s the type of guy parents would love, he has ‘never actually had a relationship’.

‘I haven’t found that right person to sweep me off my feet,’ he added.

The second is Gold Coast hunk Chris Graudins, 25, who is in the riot prevention squad.

‘People meet me and they think – this guy is going to be confident and cocky. But there’s more to meet than meets the eye,’ he said.

Although many contestants appear on reality shows just for Instagram fame and followers, Chris insists that he’s heading on the series for one reason – ‘to find true love’.

Prior to his career as a riot squad officer, Chris spent four years based in Townsville in the Army and also worked as a stripper.

He is also a former Australian national champion swimmer in the 100m and 200m butterfly, and wants to find a woman who is as into fitness as he is.

Love Island Australia continues Wednesday at 8:40pm on Channel Nine
