‘A prime example of an obvious fake nice girl act’: Love Island fans blast Gemma for implying she doesn’t like Dami and Indiyah after they vote for her and Luca as least compatible

Love Island fans have turned on Gemma Owen after she made a comment in Sunday’s episode that implied she doesn’t like her fellow Islanders.

Gemma and her partner Luca Bish found themselves up for the public vote, after they received three votes from their fellow Islanders for least compatible couple.

While Luca was fuming to discover Dami Hope and Indiyah Polack had voted for them, Gemma seemed unbothered at first.

Indiyah explained: ‘We know that arguments are normal, but it’s the stuff that you’re arguing about, small little things like you lot in the challenge and your protectiveness, I just feel like it was blown out of proportion.’

While Luca tried to argue back, Gemma calmed down the situation, saying: ‘That’s their point, they can say it without us trying to fight back.’

However, when alone with Luca she later said: ‘I only care about people’s opinions that are close to me and that I actually like, and that I actually value what they think.’

One fan tweeted: ‘Did Gemma just say she hates Indiyah.’

While another echoed: ‘Gemma what’s that supposed to mean … you don’t like indiyah and dami so you don’t value their opinion’.

A third said: ‘so gemma just basically said she doesn’t even like or value dami n indiyah. this couple fake asf’.

Someone else agreed, writing: ‘Is Gemma alluding to the fact that she’s not close with and doesn’t like Dami and indiyah ?’

Before adding of the family: ‘They’re all loving watching you, they’re missing you like mad.’

Louise admitted that she would have paired Gemma with Luca if she had the opportunity from the start and also went on to tell her how they will have to see how they get on on the outside.
