WWE star Seth Rollins was attacked by a fan during the company’s Monday Night Raw broadcast at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Rollins, 35, was headed back after a match against Finn Balor when a fan breached a guard rail, charged and tackled him, with the two grappling until a group of referees and event personnel were able to pull the fan off.
An NYPD spokesperson told ESPN that a 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, and charges were pending. The name of the suspect would be released when charges were filed, police said.

The incident was caught on Twitter in a number of angles, showing how the fan charged at Rollins with a running start. Rollins and the fan were seen struggling for control on the ground until the officials intervened.
Rollins, whose real name is Colby Lopez, kept his cool and did not go on the offense physically toward his attacker once they were physically separated.
WWE fans could be heard chanting of the fan, ‘F*** him up,’ toward security as the situation was brought under control and the fan was removed from the area.
WWE said in a statement Monday that the company ‘takes the safety of its performers very seriously,’ and that ‘the individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.’
