Virgil van Dijk scored the opener and Memphis Depay notched a brace as Holland cruised to a comfortable World Cup qualifying victory against Gibraltar in Rotterdam.
Liverpool defender – and Dutch skipper – Van Dijk converted from Memphis Depay’s corner early on, with the Barcelona then missing a penalty before scoring in open play and then on the stroke of half-time from the spot.
Denzel Dumfries, Arnaut Danjuma and Donyell Malen all got in on the act in the second-half as Louis van Gaal’s side stay two points ahead of Norway in the qualifying group for Qatar 2022.
